About the job/role

Reporting to the Retail & Brand Manager, this role will assist and support the UK team in brand, retail & sales. We are looking for an excellent communicator to support day to day running and implementation of brand strategy across an incredibly diverse IP portfolio. The Licensing Executive will work closely with the CPLG UK team, head office and Client Services to ensure flow of relevant information and materials and all parties are connected.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the creation and upkeep sales materials including presentations, and reports
  • Regular liaising with client services, brand owners and licensees to provide and obtain relevant brand information
  • Support the Retail & Brand Manager on a day-to-day basis with administrative support
  • Main point of contact for specified brands and retailers
  • Perform retail checks for our brands and carry out market analysis
  • Research market in specified categories to identify potential new partners
  • Monitor the flow of contracts
  • Assisting with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and obtaining royalty reports.
  • Visit trade fairs as appropriate, support sales team where necessary
  • Collection of relevant market information, identifying market opportunities

Qualifications

  • Experience working within licensing sector ideally in sales or brand marketing
  • Solid understanding of licensing
  • A creative thinker with ability to problem solve
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and handle multiple on-going deadlines
  • A team player who is enthusiastic and self motivated with the ability to show initiative
  • University education preferred but not essential
  • Good verbal and written skills in English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
