The Role

Develop and strategically grow existing and new business for CPLG’s representation in the Iberian region within Apparel and Fashion Apparel business. This role will work closely with Commercial Director, Iberia and MD, Iberia/VP Southern Europe, the Local Commercial Team in Iberia and other CPLG regions and the CPLG Europe brand team, securing licensees for each property and maximizing retail activity. The office is based in Barcelona.

What You Will Do

  • Be, with other Sales Managers, the main commercial contact for all business across all brands in Apparel and Fashion Apparel in Iberia.
  • In coordination with the rest of the Commercial Team, build strong direct retail partnerships (either DTR or with licensees) with core regional Fashion Retailers such as Inditex, Cortefiel, Mango, Desigual, among others.
  • Prospect and Search for relevant Properties to represent, fitting with Fashion Retail needs and trends.
  • Design and build up the relevant Sales Materials and assets, Inspirational Boards, Trend Boards among others to proficiently maximize the Apparel and Fashion-Apparel business in Iberia.
  • Together with regional MD and other Commercial Team members, set and execute the Company’s licensing and retail strategies and review quarterly within the company´s budgeting process.
  • Prepare and exceed annual forecasts and manage a portfolio of own category accounts.
  • Develop and manage critical Licensor relationships in tandem with MD Iberia and the rest of the Commercial Team.
  • Interacting with rest of Commercial Team to activate agreed strategies.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with licensees, licensors, partners and retailers (where appropriate).
  • Conduct business reviews for Licensors and internal CPLG Management to consistently high standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to CPLG’s CRM system (OASIS) as the central information tool for licensor reviews and internal forecasting and business management.
  • Collect the relevant market information, identifying market opportunities for the relevant Apparel and Fashion-Apparel Categories.
  • Continuously strive to identify and secure new licensees that have not worked with CPLG
  • Providing information to assist in marketing and sales plans.
  • Feedback on the progress and outcome of the commercial efforts.


What You Will Bring

  • Outstanding Fashion Skills. Preferable experience with Fashion Retail Business (Inditex, Cortefiel, Mango, Desigual among others).
  • Design skills preferred.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills.
  • A keen eye for detail, hands-on approach with a strategic vision.
  • An innovative and creative salesperson.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and can communicate at all levels.
  • Design skills preferred.
  • Good verbal and written skills in Spanish and English.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Travel required.
