The Role

 

The sales manager supports our licensing programs with an emphasis on securing and managing licensing partnerships for our three brand pillars (Entertainment, Lifestyle and Sports). The position will participate in developing and executing strategic licensing programs for new and existing clients. Responsibilities include pitching prospects, negotiating deal terms/contracts, and financial reporting program results. The position will be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks required to meet and exceed the client’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Business prospecting, including introductions to potential licensors.
  • Target & analyse potential new licensees, Direct-To-Retail deals (DTR’s) and collaborations evaluating the structure, retail relationships and product design capabilities.
  • Oversee new contract negotiations ensuring terms meet the Licensor requirements and overall business objectives.
  • Be on top of your budget, forecast sales and royalty revenue.
  • Work with creative team at head office & local brand team to create kick-ass pitch presentations.
  • Support the brand management on establishing cross-promotional retail activities to ensure strong retail distribution for your licensees.
  • Work across multiple brands, building trusted relationships with our licensing partners, licensors as well as all other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the CPLG European counterparts to develop and maximize regional opportunities.
  • Drive and be part of an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit within the office. Teamwork with product development, finance, legal and brand & retail team.

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum two years of licensing, retail or sales experience
  • You are an energetic team-player, a structured self-starter with an eye for detail.
  • Operates with excellence and focus for quality: ability to translate bigger strategic pictures into detailed level of execution.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in implementing cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
