About the Role

 

We are looking for a Client Services Director to join our team! You will develop and strategically grow the royalty income for CPLG’s key third party Entertainment and Classic representation, across a range of Licensors.

Responsibilities

Every day is different and brings new problems and challenges to solve. Typically you’ll be:

 

  • Oversee the Client Services team to maximise the development and exceed revenue targets for key representation managed by head office.
  • Review current team responsibilities and Licensors to ensure focus on existing and potential revenue drivers.
  • Lead creation of multi-territory and/or territorial strategic plans, working closely with the individual territories to execute, ensuring revenue forecasts are met.
  • Guide the implementation and maximise the impact of global halo projects & collaborations, through PR, retail activation and marketing.
  • Ensure the Client Services team manage the day-to-day agent execution of licensing business across the relevant CPLG offices.
  • Work closely with the individual Territories to ensure they have the necessary support to meet revenue forecast and agreed strategy.
  • Build relationships with all key stakeholders at Licensors as required.
  • Respond to day-to-day Licensor requests for information on the Territories including sales updates, marketing and retail plans.
  • Understand CPLG local territory needs, issues and opportunities and work in partnership with all stakeholders to ensure the agreed strategy is delivered.
  • Work closely with CPLG Finance to deliver financial analysis and forecasting to Licensor.
  • Together with HR, Support individual team members development and growth plans.
  • Support VP Business Development on the acquisition of new representation as required.
  • Well organised to manage a multitude of diverse projects.
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity to assist Licensor’s gain market-leading advantage.
  • React quickly and effectively to unplanned opportunities.
  • Attend trade fairs and conferences as agreed with CPLG Management.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience at a senior level in sales & marketing and/or brand management within licensing, toys, apparel, or FMCG.
  • Extensive experience of working closely with retailers at a senior level, through marketing initiatives, with buyers and/or DTR’s.
  • Creative approach with the ability to “think outside of the box” in order to deliver unique and creative opportunities.
  • Strong people management skills to work within a complex structure.
