About the Role

 

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Finance team and create high impact insights and make clear recommendations. You'll develop and design automated dashboards and reporting to deliver insights using Tableau and/or Power BI. You will also be reporting to the Finance Director.

Responsibilities

Every day is different and brings new problems and challenges to solve. Typically you’ll be:

 

  • You'll create high impact insights, make clear recommendations and collaborate across the business in particular with the Commercial Teams working across all CPLG territories. 
  • You'll develop and design automated dashboards and reporting to deliver insights using Tableau and/or Power BI the goal being to increase productivity and share information widely.  
  • You'll work alongside the WildBrain Data and Technology Team to incorporate our "Spark" data sets, combining with CPLG specific data sources including WestEnd royalty information. 
  • You'll create bespoke reports for the various commercial CPLG teams to meet their data analysis needs and support decision making.
  • You'll work with the CPLG Finance team to construct analytical reports and dashboards to present to CPLG’s key licensors, including WildBrain Brands. 
  • You'll help in identifying internal process efficiencies, experimenting with new and innovative methods.  
  • You'll contribute at both internal and external meetings, leveraging your data expertise to provide a fact-driven perspective.  
  • You'll develop close working relationships with a range of stakeholders across the WildBrain Group, managing expectations, priorities, and timeline adequately. 

Qualifications

  • Experience with creating commercial business insights in Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Proven track record of developing commercial analysis proactively and autonomously
  • Ability to explain complex analytics to non- technical audiences
